Co-operations with SSI- Intitute for Tourism and Marketing in Berlin
The Eurpean Spas Association – ESPA – is working in co-operation with the SSI, Institute for Tourism and Marketing, since 1998 in topics of
training and further education in tourism,
development of new concepts in health- tourism and at the
scientific support of practical studies and graduation exams.
These results of co-operation have found international attention, so the member-countries of ESPA builded up the relations of co-operation more and more and took part in the useful effect of this partnership. Especially the newly developed profession of “Expert for health tourism” is a part of offensive training directed on the improvement of quality in spas and spatowns. The ESPA strives for obtaining appreciation of this profession all over Europe.
Together with the SSI – Institute a Competence- Center “Healthtourism” is coming to existence and a national and international exchange of human ressources and experiences will be organized.
